Linoleum block Reduction print Step 1: Draw a pattern on the block.(it should not look like anything “real”- it’s just a pattern.) Step 2:Carve out that pattern, leaving the background intact. Step 3:Ink and print the block 3 times on 3 separate pieces of paper. Step 4:Carve out more from the patterns, reducing the size of the background. Step 5:Ink the block with a different color from step 2 and print it ON TOP OF your previous prints. Please keep the colors monochromatic. Step 6:Repeat step 4 Step 7:Repeat step 5
